Gustavo Augusto
Gustavo Augusto Freitas de Lima is a commissioner for Brazil's Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica (CADE), a role he has held since June 2022.
Before joining CADE, he was assistant deputy director of economic policy within the General Secretariat of the Presidency of Brazil, and served on the board of directors of Empresa de Planejamento e Logística (EPL), a state-owned company that oversees the country's integrated logistics-planning process.
He was previously a federal prosecutor in the Office of the Attorney General of Brazil, where he headed the Office of the Prosecutor General of Brazil's (PGF) litigation department.
He holds bachelor's degrees in law and nautical science and a postgraduate diploma in public law the from Universidade Estácio de Sá, and a master's degree from UniCeub.
