Bowman Heiden
Bowman Heiden is executive director at the Tusher Strategic Initiative for Technology Leadership at the University of California at Berkeley and co-director of the Center for Intellectual Property (CIP), a joint center for knowledge-based business development between University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology, and the Norwegian University for Science and Technology.
He is also a visiting professor at University of California at Berkeley, a visiting scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, and a member of the European Commission High-Level Expert Group on Standard Essential Patents. In addition, he developed the Impact Accelerator at the Sahlgrenska School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where he is also the program director of the interdisciplinary master’s program.
Previously, he was innovation director for the Qatar Science & Technology Park, where he was responsible for driving innovation strategy and intellectual property policy.
