John Fingleton
John Fingleton is chair of the advisory firm Fingleton and former CEO of the UK Office of Fair Trading. He previously chaired the Irish Competition Authority and the International Competition Network and sat on the Competition Committee of the OECD.
In addition, he serves on the board of UK Research and Innovation and is the senior independent member of the Council of Innovate UK and a trustee of the Centre for Economic Policy Research. In 2022, John received a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his services to the economy and innovation.
He received his bachelors from Trinity College Dublin and his doctorate in economics from Oxford University's Nuffield College.
