Policies

Posts. The views expressed in posts on this blog are those of the designated author and do not necessarily reflect the views of the other bloggers. With that said, if you find a post particularly insightful, brilliant or the like, you can assume it does reflect the insightfulness, brilliance, etc. of the other bloggers for having associated themselves with the particular author.

We may correct spelling and grammar errors in posts without notice. We may also tweak posts in light of comments or upon further thought without notice. We will endeavor to provide notice of substantive changes to a post.

Comments. We welcome comments. We do not intend to moderate them but may delete those that are profane, mean spirited, racist, sexist, or otherwise inappropriate. We will delete spam.

The views reflected in a comment are those of the commenter only. The fact that we do not delete a comment does not mean we endorse or agree with it, and you should not assume that we do.

Email. We welcome emails from our readers. Click here for our email addresses. If we think your email is blog worthy, we may talk about it or quote from it in future posts, but we won’t reveal your identity unless you say we can. If you don’t want us to do this, tell us so in your email.

We are not giving legal advice. Some of us are lawyers, and we will be commenting on the law. We are not, however, giving legal advice. The materials on this blog have been prepared for informational purposes only.

Copyright. All original material appearing on this blog is copyrighted by the designated author, and we reserve all rights not expressly granted herein.

Disclaimers. All content on this blog is provided to you on an “as is,” “as available” basis. We hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, either express or implied, statutory or otherwise. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, or reliability of any content available through or on this blog. Blah, blah, blah . . . .

Changes; Acceptance. We reserve the right to change these policies at any time. By using this blog, you accept and agree to abide by all the policies specified above.

Self-Promotion. We will engage in self-promotion on this blog. All such promotion will be of the “shameless” variety, whether expressly prefaced as such or not.

Notice. Notice that in the above policies we use some good lawyerly words like “endeavor,” “intend,” and “may.” We included these words to give us the latitude to do something that appears to conflict with the above policies but upon closer examination, because of these fine words, does not.
