Lexis once again has a full-text Wall Street Journal database.

I just received the following email from one of our librarians.

Good news – The Wall Street Journal is again available in full text on Lexis!  Coverage goes back as far as 1985.  For awhile, we were not able to access the full WSJ via Lexis, but coverage has been completely restored.

This really is good news as I used the W$J database all the time before both Lexis and Westlaw switched to abstracts only.  I wonder if Westlaw will follow suit.  I’m sure the change is a direct result of this blog post.

There apparently is a fair amount of movement between vendors and Lexis and Westlaw. Within the last month, American Lawyer Media (basically all publications on Law.com) has migrated to Westlaw. Their service is not fully operational yet, but it is no longer available on Lexis.
